Columbus Crew game

We took Jenson to a Columbus Crew game while the weather was still going to be nice enough and it was a 5 p.m. game.  He was really excited to go – he likes watching soccer on TV, and we told him we’d probably see (his friend) Brady there.

Lucky for him, we did see Brady on the way in.  He did really well watching the game and we took stuff for him to eat for dinner since the game was going to be over his dinnertime.  He loved the halftime show with all of the various local mascots playing soccer.

The highlight of his night was Crew Cat though.  After he “met” him (and tried to pull his whiskers), he talked about him the rest of the game and was looking for the cat the whole time.

We left before the game was over because they were up 4-0 (5-o as we were walking out), and it was getting chilly and we wanted to beat the traffic and get him home to bed.

He got to go to another game with Lo while I was out of town.  When Lo asked him if he wanted to go, the first things he said was “see Brady?”, even though we only saw him for 2 minutes at this game.  He has a great memory.
