December Birchbox Review

The December Birchbox wasn’t wonderful.  Things didn’t seem very tailored to me and I received too many lotion-type problems.  Some months are better than others, so it’s no big deal.

December Birchbox Items: The price in parenthesis is the price for the full-sized product, the samples are pretty generously sized, if not full-size.

• Thymes Body Lotion: Naia ($25) – This lotion smells wonderful, but I haven’t had a chance to use it.
• ModelCo SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss ($16) – I really like the texture of this gloss, but it doesn’t have much color.  I love how the tube has a mirror on it though.  I can see myself carrying this for when I need some shine and a little tint.
• Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream ($39) – I haven’t used this…I’m kinda tired of getting samples like this.  I just need to go ahead and try it though.  UPDATE: I finally used this and while I like the color and texture, it has a off scent.  I couldn’t use it regularly.
• Kérastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique – Protect ($42) – I don’t have a lot of use for a product like this since I don’t heat-style my hair very often, so I haven’t used it yet.
• Birchbox Extra -Thymes Body Lotion – Lotus Santal – 1 use package – not sure why I received an “extra” of something that I already got a sample of, but oh well.
