Friday iPhone Dump: Ready for Christmas

I’m linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Friday iPhone Dump today, and I’m only a day late!  These are my fav pictures from the week…which was also my last week off of work.  I go back on Wednesday. 🙁

December 6 – 12, 2013

1.  After a bath.  He actually had one and half baths because as soon as I unwrapped him from this towel to dress him, he peed all over himself.  So I filled the tub back up and dunked him in.
2.  He had a rough night after the bath.  Lo had to go out of town after work and wasn’t back until 8 or 9, and Jenson was tired of me and fussy.  It’s funny when he hangs the pacifier out of his mouth like this.  He looks like a drunk with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

3.  Play mat fun!  He loves his animals on here and reaches for them and talks to them.
4.  9 weeks old of adorableness!

5.  His 2 month appointment stats.  He’s still a little nugget!
6.  This appointment meant vaccines.  He did pretty well at the office – he cried until I was allowed to pick him up and then he went to sleep.  A couple of hours later he got so upset and was crying so hard.  Lo went to get infant Tylenol and Jenson’s rx for Zantac.  He would fall asleep and wake up screaming.  The Tylenol definitely seemed to help, but this pic was him being upset in his sleep.

7.  He was feeling a little better by the time Chuck and Kelley came to visit.  Kelley hadn’t seen him in over 6 weeks, so he was really happy to see her.
8.  And the next morning he was back to normal.

9.  & 10.  Just some adorable shots playing on the playmat.

11.  Going to see Santa
12.  Santa at Lowe’s.  Mrs. Claus was there too, but the way they had the scene set up, you couldn’t really get a picture with both of them in it without getting a crappy background after the brick wall ended.  Otherwise, it was a really cute scene and he was a convincing Santa (and she Mrs. Claus).

13.  & 14 . Wearing his Christmas clothes.  A friend gave us the shirt and my sister crocheted the hat.  He isn’t always happy to wear the hat, but I still got a good pic of him in the chair.

15.  I actually cooked!  I made some beef stew and gf biscuits from gluten-free bisquick mix.  It was pretty awesome.  It took me all day to get it together (browning the meat and chopping the veggies over a couple of naps and some playmat time, but that’s the beauty of the crockpot – I just threw things in as they were ready.

16.  Superman was super-sleepy on Thursday.  He slept until noon (with 3 nursings through the night), and then he was pretty much napping the whole day!  He would only stay awake for 30-45 minutes at a time and then back to sleep.
17.  This is the only awake picture I have from the day, but it’s so cute!

18.  He makes this pouty face after he nurses and falls right to sleep.  When he’s done nursing, he pulls away very dramatically with a grunt and his lips pursed, and then he falls right to sleep like this.
19.  Lo got a Christmas tree and put it up on Thursday.  We almost didn’t get a real one because we didn’t get around to it earlier, but he’s all about having a real tree, so I said we should at least just get a small one.  Our other option was bringing in the artificial one that we have on the porch.  It’s not a perfect tree (they were picked over by now), but it smells like Christmas in here now.  We did wake up to a bang this morning around 8 when the tree fell over.  Yep, completely fell.  They didn’t drill a very good hole for the stand I guess.  Only one ornament chipped and it’s now secured to the wall.  I’m just glad it didn’t happen in the middle of the night and scare the crap out of us!
