I’m linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Friday iPhone Dump today.  It’s not Friday though…it’s Tuesday.  I’ve been busy but I didn’t want to miss posting these because we had a ton of visitors over the last two weekends so I have so many I want to post.  Some of Lo’s family and my sister and nieces visited the previous weekend, and then my sister and her husband flew in from Vegas to stay with us before the rest of my family came later to see her and meet Jenson.  Only half of that visit will be in this post, and the other half will fall in Friday’s post.  So this post covers November 1 – 7, 2013.

1. Uncle Patrick came up from Indiana to visit on Friday.  Jenson wore the Superman outfit that Patrick bought him, though it’s hard to see in this picture.
2.  My sister Julie and nieces Abby and Madison visited from Michigan on Saturday and Sunday.  They were in town for Madison’s soccer tournament and got to hang out with them a few times during the weekend.

3. and 4.  My sister-in-law Misty and niece Sadie came for another visit on Saturday, all decked out for the Buckeye game.

5.  In honor of the Steelers game, Jenson and I wore our Steelers gear.  They lost, as is typical this season.
6.  Nana and Pawpaw visited and Boof also wore her Steelers finest.  Lo said she got made fun of on her walk.  That’s okay…she’s proud.

8.  He’s 4 weeks old!  That seems so crazy.

9.  This picture of him hiding his face cracks me up.
10.  I’m also taking monthly pictures in addition to the weekly ones.

11.  Jenson took his first bottle on Monday, November 4.  He did really well and had no trouble going back to nursing.  As a matter of fact, he nursed immediately after the bottle because he wanted more after the 2 ounce bottle.  We had no idea how much to prepare for him, and I figured less was better than more, so I didn’t have to waste any.

12. and 13. His outfit was so cute and matched a few of his hats, so I tried them on him now that they fit better.  My sister Christine made these adorable hats and they were too big on him until now.  She crochets the most adorable things!  I have several more to show off soon!

14. and 15.  We went on a family walk since it was such a nice day.  Once the leaves changed, our street was lined with these red trees.  They all fell just a few days later.

16.  Even though this was a sleepy “I just ate smile”, it’s just too sweet.  He’s been smiling on purpose at us for a week now and it’s pretty awesome.

17.  He weighed in at about 9 lb. 3 oz. on Wednesday before his first tub bath.  We were waiting on his belly button to heal completely.
18.  Speaking of his bath, he LOVED it and was so content just hanging out in the water.  He was so content that he just started peeing as I was taking pictures!  You can see the stream up in front of his face in the picture.  It was so funny.

19. and 20. My sister Summer and her husband Gary came to visit from Las Vegas on Wednesday.  They are expecting a son in February, so they were especially excited to spend some time with Jenson.  We won’t get to see them again until we go visit in the spring (hopefully), but it was so great to spend several days with them.

21. and 22. That night we went to a great restaurant just down the road called Beer Kitchen 101.  I had my first beer since last January.  I couldn’t resist since they had some good gluten-free beers on the menu, including my favorite, Brunehaut Blond Ale.  I sipped it slowly and took the entire meal to finish it since it was 6.5%, and I still had a buzz from it.  I had a bottle ready at home, so I pumped and then tested my milk (and ended up dumping it).

23.  My parents came on Thursday.  You know my dad is around when you find random pieces of cheese laying around.  He always brings cheese when he comes, just in case we don’t have any (he can’t go without it).  I went into the dining room and saw these laying on my grocery list.  Boof especially loves her Pap-pap because he shares.
24.  My mom snuggling up with Jenson when she got here.

25. and 26.  My dad isn’t one for holding babies, but I got some good pictures of him hanging out with Jenson.

The rest of my family visit will be continued with next Friday’s post.  Anyone want to take bets on how late I’ll be at posting that one?
