Friday Photo Dump: Feb 3 – Feb 9

Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom hosts a Friday Photo Dump linkup and its a fun way to post a few (or bunch) pictures from the week.  I switched my date range to Monday-Sunday because it wasn’t working for me to try to get the pictures up from the night before on Friday.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Jenson was a fussy-face this week, but when he wasn’t fussing, he was smiling, so it wasn’t too bad.  He didn’t sleep as well, and was a fussy eater, but he’s coming up on a Wonder Week, so it’s not a huge surprise.

He had his 4 month appointment and shots and while we thought he grew a bunch, he’s actually still a tiny guy!  He’s only 13 lb, 5 oz, which is 10%.  The Dr. wasn’t concerned about it in any way, and his development in every other way is on par or better, so no big deal.  My mom reminds me that I was a skinny baby for the first year too.

February 3, 2014 – February 9, 2014

1.  Rolling, rolling, rolling!  He doesn’t always want to do it, but he’s rolled many times now.
2.  I took this picture the night we got the snow and ice…at 11 p.m.!  It was that light outside still – crazy!  This was with no extra light or flash or anything.

3.  Because of all of the snow and ice from the picture above, we had a two hour delay for work (which NEVER happens).  So I got to hang out in bed and get extra morning smiles with this kid.
4.  And on the other side of me what that kid (laying in Lo’s spot, who’d been shoveling for two hours.

5. – 8.  Jenson had his 4 month appointment and I was so nervous about his shots.  I hate it when he’s upset – especially since it’s still so rare. He did pretty well with the shots though – he didn’t notice the first one, and he cried with the second one until I was able to pick him up.  He’s still such a little guy.  With all of the growing he’s done lately, I expected him to be at least 15 lbs, instead of 13.5.  The chart says 24 inches, but he’s actually 25.  She didn’t get a good measurement and when the Dr. looked at it, he said he was definitely longer than 24 inches.  I measured two different times and get 25 inches.

9.  Still in good spirits after waking from his nap after the appointment.
10. He got fussy and started to wear down after his shots, so I gave him lots of cuddles.

11.  He was pretty fussy through the whole evening when he wasn’t sleeping.  I spend the evening holding him or laying beside him – it was pretty awesome.

12.  Nana and Meem came to visit the kids.  Boof made sure she was getting her fair share of attention.

15.  Still small enough to lay against my propped up legs, though those days are limited I’m sure.
16.  Sweet sleeping baby.

17. – 18.  18 weeks old on February 9 and being silly for pictures!

19.  Jenson was 4 months old on February 6!
20.  Boof made sure to get in on a few pictures so she could have a participation treat.

21. – 22.  Showing off his crocheted hat and boat shoes from Aunt Christine.  The hat is going to fit perfectly for spring I think!

23.  Sitting much better in his bumbo seat now.  I don’t put him in there often – it honestly doesn’t look that comfortable, but it’s good practice for sitting up, so I try to once or twice a week.
