Friday Photo Favorites: May 26 – June 1, 2014

Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom hosts a Friday Photo Favorites linkup and its a fun way to post a few (or bunch) pictures from the week.

Jenson is doing great trying new foods this week.  So far he loves everything, as long as he’s allowed to feed himself.  He also started copying us shaking our head side to side (like “no”).  He started mocking us, and now he’ll just do it every now and then randomly.  He does so well at sitting and playing, and often wants to pull to standing – no he doesn’t crawl yet – he may just skip that.  He drops things on purpose now – all the time, and he breaks into a huge smiled whenever he sees Boof.  It was Loren’s birthday weekend, and we left Jenson with his sitter on Friday night and went to a Clippers baseball game with our friend.  It was a fun night, but it’s still hard for me to leave him for so long in the evening, especially after work.  I only got to see him for about an hour that evening, and that’s not enough.  We went to a birthday party for our friend’s 6 year old, stopped at our neighbors party, Lo’s parents came up for brunch on Sunday, and then we went swimming again at our friend’s house on Sunday evening.

31. Lo’s birthday cake.  Boof did not eat his cake this year.
32. The best way to end the weekend.  I held him for an extra 20 minutes or so because I just didn’t want to put him down.
