Glade Expressions® Collection Review

As a BzzAgent, I had the opportunity to try the new Glade Expressions® Collection.  The collection consists of the Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist and The Glade Expressions® Oil Diffuser.

When I went to CVS to pick up my starter kits with the coupons they gave me, I couldn’t find the Oil Diffuser anywhere, but they did have the Fragrance Mist.  I was disappointed that there was multiple scents available in the refill, but only the Cotton & Italian Mandarin scent in the starter kit, which includes the holder.  I wasn’t sure that would be a good combination.  I left that store and went to another CVS and found the same situation, so I went ahead and bought that scent. I tried it out when I got home and was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked it.  It’s not a scent that I’d want to spray in the kitchen, but it’s perfect for our half bathroom downstairs and other living spaces.  Since the kits were on sale that week and I had extra coupons, I picked up a couple more so I could give one to my friend and mom instead of just giving them a coupon to lose use.

The best thing about the mist is that it comes in a refillable holder with a removable label, so it’s white and unobstrusive with your décor.  When it’s empty, you can refill the holder with a variety of scent cartridges.  Also important, I’m sensitive to air freshener scents, meaning, they make me want to gag, but I actually like this scent and it isn’t super-strong or overwhelming.

Sorry, I didn’t have a chance to get a better picture, but so you get the idea:

I finally found the Oil Diffuser and though I’ve only been using it a few days, I love that it releases a continuous light scent and isn’t ugly.  I purchased it in white (bamboo is the other option) and you can barely notice it.  It won’t spill like normal oil diffusers, so it’s a good option if you have pets and kids running around (plus, sometimes they’re both stinky).  This holder is also refillable, so there’s less waste when it runs out.  I’d love to see this in a more seasonal scent, like pumpkin pie, but maybe that’s coming in the future.

The scents available in both formulas are:

  • Cotton & Italian Mandarin
  • Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice
  • Lavender & Juniper Berry
  • Pineapple & Mangosteen

*disclosure: I was provided with a coupons for the free products but was under no obligation to post a review, so you can count on this as my true opinion.
