I’m 34!

I turned 34 today!  I keep forgetting how old I am.  My coworker asked me how old I would be and I said “33, no – 34, wait…3-…I don’t know…I was born in 1979”.  And while I was waiting for him to do the math, I remembered for sure I was turning 34 (because I remember thinking that if we want to have 2 kids, I could maybe knock them out by age 36).

Lo got me some awesome flowers and Pistacia Vera Macarons.  Plus my coworker got me a pint of Jeni’s Ice Cream Lemon and Blueberry Yogurt, and our friends gave me a jar of runts!  I’m all set for sweets!  Our friends had a get together last at their new house and we got to see tons of friends who we haven’t seen for awhile, so the weekend started off great!  Oh, and they had these grapes called witches fingers, that were shaped like long fingernails – and they were SO good.  If you see them, you should totally try them.

Yum…he got me a box of these during my first trimester and it was right about the time I started to be constantly nauseous, so I didn’t get to enjoy them.  This time, I definitely will!

The following are the same pics I had up for my birthday post last year…but anyway…

Day one – my mom was a pro…I’m her 6th daughter.  Actually, I thought I was balder when I was born, but I had a little hair.

1st birthday – I look like a boy.  I love the frosting beard though.  Some things don’t change.

2nd birthday

3rd birthday – I like Big Bird and Ballerinas, I guess

6th birthday – Oh…back to a boy again!  Parents, when your daughter with long pretty hair wants you to cut it all off because the neighbor girl did…don’t.  

7th birthday – whew…it grew back – so did the neighbor girls (in the yellow)

Those are all of the birthday pictures I could find.  There are plenty more at my mom’s house, but these are the only scanned ones that I have right now.

Not sure what else we’re going to get into this weekend…we’ll probably go to dinner…hang out with friends.

Also, considering it’s mid-August, we are going to have a baby in about 2 months.  Crazy!
