Menu Monday: Comfort Food

It’s Menu Monday again.  I’m terrible at menu planning because I have no idea what our evenings will bring, so linking up after the fact is that way I need to go.  This week turned out to be mostly comfort food, but by accident.  It was more just – what can we have quickly – when we were busy.  Brisket, pork, pizza, mexican, mac and cheese, and french toast sound like comfort food to me!  I actually took some pics this week!

Monday:
Lunch:  Leftover brisket, polenta, and cabbage au gratin
Dinner:  Cabbage au gratin – I don’t think I had anything else…

Tuesday:
Lunch:  Pulled pork, mashed potatoes, and veggies
Dinner: Donatos frozen gluten free pizza – it was good for frozen!

Wednesday:
Lunch:  Pulled pork, mashed potatoes, and veggies
Dinner:  Yabo’s Tacos.  Again. I’m not even joking.  We had our maternity ward tour at OSU and met our friends there afterwards who were watching the US Soccer game so Lo could use their SUV to pick up our flooring.  I only had 2 tacos because we stopped at Milestone 223 after work when we had some time to kill before our tour and split some wings and fries.

Thursday:
Lunch:  Leftover Pizza
Dinner:  Taco-Stuffed Twice Baked Potatoes from the freezer.  I painted baseboards for most of the evening and then needed to eat something easy and quick.

Friday:
Lunch:  Mac and cheese with leftover pulled pork, and loaded mashed cauliflower
Dinner: Nothing really….I had a headache and didn’t feel like eating really.  Lo worked on the floor most of the night.  I had some snacks here and there…veggies and spinach dip and some tortilla chips.loaded mashed cauliflower

Saturday:
Lunch:  Late breakfast of gf french toast and bacon.
Dinner:  Cinco de Mayo Mexican.  It’s not even called that anymore, but I’m refusing to adapt to the new name (Azteca Grill?).  I had a ton of chips, queso, and salsa, and then 2 tacos.french toast

Sunday:
Lunch:  Very late breakfast of leftover french toast and bacon (like 230)
Dinner:  Graffiti Burger, fries, and shakes (no bun for me)
