October Birchbox Review
The October Birchbox was sponsored by goop, which is a lifestyle resource created by Gwyneth Paltrow. I had the option of getting a goop birchbox or a regular box, and I thought it would be fun to get the goop one.
Birchbox is a monthly subscription service for upscale beauty products. For $10, you get a box with 4-5 generous samples including makeup, skincare, fragrance, body, and hair care. Wanna try Birchbox? I’d love it if you used my referral invite: Click here.
October Birchbox Items: The price in parenthesis is the price for the full-sized product, the samples are pretty generously sized, if not full-size.
- essie nail polish – This looks like a pretty cool burgundy color, but I haven’t tried it yet. ($8)
- Joanna Vargas Daily Serum – I never hold out much hope with serums because I don’t feel like I ever notice any benefit, but I’ll give this a try tonight. ($85)
- Marie Veronique Organics Body Oil – This is a blend of watermelon seed, vegetable squalene (?), and apricot kernel oils. It’s very bizarre and smells like vegetables, but it’s sort of interesting. I’m not a big fan of body oils, but I’ll try it. ($36)
- Sprout Lip Balm Flights – This cocoa lip balm smells great and I like the feel of it. ($18)
- Luna LemonZest – I like Luna bars but have never tried this flavor. It saved my life on Saturday when I was hungover and needed to eat something. ($18.50 for 18 pk)
