Touch-a-Truck and JD Day of Play

I started this post a month ago, and then life got chaotic.  Nothing super-crazy, but we went to Vegas, Jenson turned 2, I re-purposed a tv stand into a play kitchen for Jenson the same week I was trying to get ready for his birthday

Jenson is 2!

Jenson is 2!

Jenson turned 2, and we had a great day.  We played outside in the morning before lunch.  He took an hour to fall asleep, but eventually I rocked and sung him to sleep…I know those days are fleeting.  He woke up horribly from his nap

It’s Fall! And Dangles the Monkey

It’s Fall! And Dangles the Monkey

I’m so happy for Fall to come this year.  I feel a little ripped off by September though.  Not only did it only feel like it was a week and a half long, it was definitely more like summer than fall, with temps over 85

Sadly I wasn’t too far behind on this post when I started, but I did get the pictures ready in time to add to the post.  And then something happened to September.  Actually, it’s like it didn’t happen at all.  Thus, we have an almost

Gluten-free Waffle Donuts – No oven needed!

You know you can make donuts in a waffles maker, right?  Wonuts, I guess?  It’s a game-changer.    OR I’d been craving donuts, but it was during one of those high 80/90 degrees stretch of weather this summer and I didn’t really want to turn

Sons of Anarchy: my thoughts

Sons of Anarchy: my thoughts

I just finished watching Sons of Anarchy.  Lo watched it when it was currently airing, and I honestly had no interest in it.  He’d watch it while I was at volleyball or busy, so I’d catch a little bit when I got home or came
