Quick visit for a baptism
The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we had our nephews baptism to attend. The timing was going to be wonky for Jenson’s nap, so we elected to skip mass in favor of making the drive later, so that Jenson would sleep on the way for an early nap and we’d be able to go to lunch with everyone afterwards without him getting cranky. It worked out great because he woke about 5 minutes before we got to the church and he was in a great mood.
The boys were so cute in their baptism suits, and they did great. And take a look as Misty…can you believe she had twins like 9 months ago?!
Jenson got to see his Peepaw and Papaw before they had to go to work.
We took a family photo…yep, I’m giant (pregnancy-wise).
We went for pizza afterwards and Jenson and Sadie had fun sitting together. Sadie was feeding him some cake. He was all about it because, well, cake. They are funny together because Sadie treats him like he’s younger than he is and is always trying to pull him along and force him to do/take things, and he’s okay with it sometimes, but otherwise he’s like, um, no. And when it gets too much, he escapes to one of us to pick him up. Her brothers are in trouble! I always say there had to be two of them so they could defend themselves against Sadie’s control.
They had some cuddle time with Nana (or he was escaping…not sure).
It was a quick visit, but nice to spend some time together and let the kids play after lunch.
