Sunday Social: Favorites

It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup.  This week’s questions are “favorites”.  I’m indecisive, so I can’t just pick one…

1. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?  That’s tough because Jeni’s Ice Cream has so many amazing flavors.  I’d have to pick Salty Caramel though, with Queen City Cayenne right behind. Talenti Gelato also makes a great Salty Caramel and is available in most stores, if you don’t have access to Jeni’s.  Next in line would be some sort of chocolate peanut butter.

2. What is your favorite smell (wrong word choice) scent?  Again…favorite is a strong word because it depends on what it’s for (candle, lotion, just in general?).  Probably the scent of Aveda stores/salons.  Or my baby…he smells pretty amazing.  And coffee.

3. What is your favorite TV commercial? (Past or present)  I don’t really watch or care about commercials, but some of the commercials that are on during football games where the guy is talking to the little kids are pretty funny.  But some of them are not funny at all.  Clearly, people who work in advertising would hate me because I cannot think of what that commercial is for….insurance?  (5 minutes later, I remembered its for cell phones, but don’t know if verizon or at&t).  The commercial I quote the most is the “from you dad, I learned it from watching you” anti-drug commercial from the 80’s.  (5 more minutes later, that guy/kids commercial came on and it’s for AT&T).  Also, I hate this question because I misspell commercial everything = commerical….and I’m tired of correcting it.

4. What is your favorite day of the week?  Saturday.  It’s the first morning of the weekend of not having to get up for work (once I’m back at work), and it’s the last day of the weekend that I don’t have to worry about what time I go to bed because there’s still another day left.

5. What is your favorite way to waste time?  Internet.  Lately I feel like I’m constantly researching things, but I’d rather spend it catching up on emails or blogging.  I waste a little too much time on FB too.

6. What is your favorite article of clothing?  Blarg…I have different favorites for different situations/seasons.  I like my yoga pants from target…and my black cowl neck short sleeve shirt from Marshalls (BCBG maybe?)…because it looks good no matter what – it even worked mostly through my pregnancy.  Maybe I’m forgetting something, but I’m not really that attached to most of my clothes.  Probably because it’s been so long since I’ve worn my “real” clothes since I wore maternity for so long and now mostly wear pretty casual stuff since Jenson was born.  Though I can fit in most of my “real” clothes, things probably wont’ look quite the same for awhile.
