Sunday Social: 5 Things

It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup.

1. 5 songs you’ll listen to the rest of your life.

Head full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise – Avett Brothers: This song just speaks to me
You’re the One – The Black Keys: Our wedding song
Somewhere Over The Rainbow – Israel Kamakawiwo’ole: Our Hawaii song
She’s Leaving Home – The Beatles: My favorite Beatles song
It was a Good Day – Ice Cube: I just love this song – always my favorite when it came on when I used to walk to work.

2. 5 things on your bucket list – I had trouble with this one. I’ve done a lot in my life, so I don’t want for much. Everything is mostly based on travel.

All inclusive resort – We’ve taken a lot of vacations, but we’ve never done an all-inclusive, which is crazy because we like to drink and eat.
Back to Ireland, with Lo this time – to the west coast this time, but I have to go to Howth again. We’ve both been to Dublin, but not together and there’s so much more to see in that country.
Go to one of Tom Colicchio’s restaurants
Go to New York City – odd that I haven’t gone, because it’s within driving distance
Buy a house with some land someday. We’ve got the house, but only about a 1/4 acre.

3. 5 celebs you’d love to hang out with for a day (I don’t have a huge desire for this honestly)

James Franco – he just seems so interesting
Gabrielle Reece – she’s beautiful, an amazing athlete (pro vb player for those who don’t know her) and lives in Hawaii with her hot surfer husband.
Jennifer Lawrence – I saw an interview with her after the oscars, and she seemed really down to earth and funny. She’s so young though…
Damien Rice – He could just sing to me. Plus he’s Irish, so he’d be cool.
Kirk Herbstreit – He’s hot and he can just talk sports. There are some OSU fans who don’t like him because he’ll criticize OSU (his alma mater) when deserved – but IT’S HIS JOB to be honest about sports. He can’t always say they’re the best and are going to win if it isn’t true.
Runner up to Aaron Craft because he seems like a ton of fun, but isn’t a dumb athlete (he’s premed). He’s not a celebrity because he’s not going to make it past OSU basketball, but I love that he did this:

4. 5 things you always carry on your purse

Wallet – which is a metal cigarette case
phone
chapstick or gloss
hairband
blotting papers

5. 5 books on your reading list – I’m going to be honest – I don’t really maintain a reading list

Finish the book I’ve been reading forever “The Forgotten Garden”
Gone Girl – I’ve heard mixed reviews on this, but I’ll read it at some point.
Young House Love – I got this for Christmas and I’m excited to check it out. I love their home improvement blog.
I have nothing else. I just read what Kelley tells me to.
