Sunday Social: Future
It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup. This week’s questions are random ones about past, present, and future.
1. What is something you’ve always wanted to do but are afraid of? Career change or go back to school. I have good job, but it doesn’t challenge me – but it’s still a great job. I guess the fear comes from now knowing what I want to do….still. And not wanting to go into debt for a MA in something I don’t know if I’d actually like.
2. Where do you see yourself in five years? 2 kids, 2 dogs, 3+ acres a little further from the ‘burbs. I don’t think the acreage thing will really happen in 5 years, but it would be pretty sweet.
3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2013? Our first baby! That’s a pretty big thing to look forward to.
4. What are your hopes for your blog? That people will enjoy it. Family will keep up with what’s going on.
5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city? No. I think I’ll be here for awhile though. I never meant for Columbus to be permanent – it was just a first stop. I love it here, but can see us going somewhere else later – even if it’s just a little further out in the country. It’s hard not to want that after growing up here:
6. What is your morning routine? I’m pretty simple. On weekdays I wake up about 25 minutes before we leave for work. I use the bathroom, brush my teeth, and shower. Lately I’ve been washing my hair on M,W,F and use dry shampoo on T, TH. After the shower, I put on lotion and deo, and comb my hair (or use the dry shampoo). I usually spray some aveda volume tonic in my hair and let it airdry on hair washing days. I get dressed and then put on Bare Essentials foundation powder and blush, concealer, and a little brow pencil. After I put on any jewelry I’m going to wear, I put my lunch in my bag, grab a drink if I’m going to have one, and give Boof a bunch of kisses. By this point, Lo is waiting for me in the car, so I grab my bag and hustle out
I’d love to move a little out of our town onto a bit of land. I don’t think we will ever have the time for the upkeep or anything like that though plus all the schools out there are no good. :/
Your morning routine sounds amazing. it takes me 25 minutes just to dry my hair lol.
