Sunday Social: TV Time
It’s Sunday Social day where Ashley and Neely post questions each week for people to answer on their blogs and a linkup. This week’s questions are all about tv.
1. What is your favorite TV as a kid? It would depend on what age I was and all of that. We didn’t have satellite until I was in high school – we lived in the country and they didn’t run cable lines down our street and we had too many tall trees to get a satellite signal (until more towers were eventually put in and such). So our tv was limited. I really liked Growing Pains. Kirk Cameron was dreamy.
2. What is your current favorite TV show? Hmm…that’s a toughy. I think I’d say Shameless, Dexter, then Breaking Bad. Two years ago I would have said Dexter hands down, but it’s gotten a little more predictable. I still love serial killers though.
3. Which reality show would you NEVER do? Pretty much all of them. I’m a grown woman now (like within the past 2 years). Even before then, I would have never done a dating one. They are disgusting. And not reality in any way.
4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do? I don’t really know what’s still on anymore. I don’t think I’d do any. I guess a fitness one – like biggest loser, but I’m not overweight enough to qualify for that. I don’t even think one like that exists. When I was younger, I would have said Real World.
5. What is the TV personality/character that you feel is most like you? I always immediately think Liz Lemon, but I suppose I’m not that awkward. I’m just plain like her. So more appropriately, Pam, from The Office. I have a boring office job (at least I don’t have to answer the phones like she did at the beginning), I’m plain, logical, and my humor is usually deadpan.
6. Which TV character would you want to date? If I’m Pam, I guess I should date Jim from the Office, which is funny because I married a guy who I met at work and who plenty of people have told he reminds them of Jim.
Or….I don’t know, maybe Jackson from Gray’s.
