Weekly Workout: Apr. 26 – May 2

My workouts were decent this week, but nothing mindblowing.  I was sore after the beginning of the week, so I took it easy at the end of the week because we are doing the 26-ish mile Market to Market Bike Ride on Saturday.  That’s going to be lovely considering my crotchal region was sore for 3 days after a spinning class last week!

Friday, April 26

  • Noon – Nothing: We were leaving work early, so I had to flex my lunch out.  I did walk Boof when we got home and it was the slowest walk ever.  What should have taken 20 minutes took 45 minutes because she now sucks at walking in the evenings.  She just goes so slow and pants so much – it wasn’t even hot out – I was wearing a long sleeve tshirt and pants.  We did stop and talk to a few neighbors, but it was still ridiculous.  We didn’t walk her in the evening at all this week because it’s just not working out.  We just open the back door and let her wander in and out to the back yard at her desire.  We are starting to be afraid that something is wrong with her, so Lo emailed the vet for an opinion.

Saturday, April 27

  • Nothing:  that’s how I roll on Saturdays

Sunday, April 28

  • Nothing:  Still rolling like that on Sundays too.

Monday, April 29

  • Noon – 100 Workout:  I did a 100 workout that I haven’t done for awhile and I was a little sore for a few days. Here it is: 100 jump rope, 90 second wall sit, 80 squats, 70 bridge lifts, 60 second plank, 50 situps (on ball), 40 reverse lunges, 30 single leg dead lifts, 20 jump squats, and 10 burpees.
  • 7:00 p.m. – GoYoga Heated Power Vinyasa (80 minutes): During the day, I saw that my favorite yoga teacher, Anne, was filling in for someone for this class, so I decided I needed to go.  I haven’t taken any of her classes in almost 2 months, so I was nervous, but it wasn’t too bad.  I’ve definitely lost some of my yoga skillz though.  It was great to have her teach again and I love the music she plays – it’s pretty much the stuff that plays on my Pandora station every day at work.  I need to try to make it to more of her classes.  So between both of these workouts on Monday, my legs were pretty beat the next day.

Tuesday, April 30

  • Noon – Nothing:  I had an orthodontist appointment over my lunch hour and then met a friend at Cap City for lunch.  I forgot how much I love Cap City – they have so many gluten-free options, including rolls and buns.  I had the blackened tilapia sandwich with fries.

Wednesday, May 1

  • Noon – 45 minute elliptical plus some heavy stretching for my sore hamstrings.

Thursday, May 2

  • Noon – Nothing:  I went to pick up some gluten-free goodies at Cherbourg Bakery for Kelley’s birthday.  It’s the most amazing gluten-free bakery.

That’s all folks.  I know I’m not doing anything on Friday because I’m meeting for lunch. What’d you do this week?
