Workouts: June 25 – 29
I have nothing spectacular to report about my workouts. My shoes are still missing. I won’t leave shoes in the gym locker room anymore I guess… None of the workers have said anything to me about looking for them, so I assume they didn’t (which is fine because I told them I didn’t care).
Monday
Noon: Legs for 20 minutes, elliptical for 20 minutes. I don’t remember exactly what I did…mostly the harder moves from p90x Legs.
7:00 p.m.: 80 minute Heated Yoga at GoYoga. This was a pretty hard class. I didn’t have any laughing problems, but Kelley did. I try not to look at her or else I’ll laugh too. It reminds me of how my sister and I took an abnormal psychology class together in college and we couldn’t look at each other or we’d start laughing. The prof was hilarious (but he wasn’t trying to be “um, number…next”). I’m pretty sure he wanted to kick us out a few times. Summer and I also cannot sleep in a hotel room together without cracking up at least once after the lights are turned off.
Tuesday
Noon: Vinyasa Yoga at Capital Club – standard lunchtime class…not too hard, not too easy – maybe a little easier than normal I think because there were some new people in class.
- Somebody that I used to know – Goyte
- Crazy Train – Ozzy
- An unknown song that was either country or Latin – I seriously couldn’t tell…Latin Country, I guess
- Personal Jesus (seriously) (acutally, her “routine” for that song is good, so I should’t complain
- Something that sounded like a crappy eletronica Madonna song
- Take it Off – Ke$ha
- and the last few were standard “clubbing” songs that were fine for spinning
I just feel like Ozzy, Personal Jesus, and Ke$ha shouldn’t co-exist.
5:30 p.m.: Yoga at Capital Club – Loren thought it was pretty hard, but because he was sore. There’s always a point in Anne’s class that I think to myself – I hate this, I’m going to stop doing yoga – but then I forget about that. I’m bad at crane and couldn’t do it the night before, but I was able to briefly get into it. I can do side crane better than regular, which is weird. I always think I can muscle into poses, but she always says it’s geometry…which I was pretty bad at in school.
